David Briscoe Returns to Austin to Lecture, Teach Seminar on "Self Diagnosis"  (October 24 - Oct 26th)

National macrobiotic consultant and educator David Briscoe will lecture on “Restoring Personal Health through Self-Diagnosis" on Friday, October 24th, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm in the Auditorium at Casa de Luz, located at 1701 Toomey Road (off South Lamar).  The lecture is presented by the Natural Epicurean, Austin’s macrobiotic resource center and culinary program (www.naturalepicurean.com, 512-476-2276) .  Admission for lecture only is $25, and $20 for an accompanying partner who enrolls with you.  (www.casadeluz.org for map and directions.)

David will also be teaching the weekend-long seminar on “Creating Your Path to Health and Happiness Through Everyday Diagnosis” at Seton Northwest’s Goodhealth Commons (Seton Medical Center, Medical Plaza 1, 301 Seton Parkway, Suite 203 Round Rock, Texas 78665, (512) 324-4803), Saturday and Sunday, October 25th and 26th from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.  The class is presented by the Natural Epicurean, Austin’s macrobiotic resource center and culinary program.  Admission of $325, $265 for an accompanying partner who enrolls with you, includes the Friday lecture, all classes, lunches, afternoon tea, and snacks. David Briscoe is one of the most experienced macrobiotic teachers and counselors in the world today. Since 1972 he has gained expertise in every facet of macrobiotics, including personal practice, teaching, counseling, professional cooking, restaurant ownership, and center development. In 1983 he was among the first to be certified by the Kushi Institute's premier training program. During the 70's and 80's, David established macrobiotic education programs and centers throughout the U.S. He has appeared on national TV programs and radio shows, is the co-author of A Personal Peace, and regularly contributes to Macrobiotics Today. David has developed macrobiotic curriculum and instruction programs for numerous educational organizations, and travels and teaches throughout North America and overseas.
