The Natural Epicurean Culinary School

The Natural Epicurean Academy of Culinary Arts offers a full-time, 800-hour culinary arts program, as well as classes and lectures open to the public.  Casa patrons are encouraged to sign up for class so that they may learn to prepare the types of food they regularly enjoy in the dining room.


On the second Sunday of each month, students of the Natural Epicurean take over the Casa kitchen to prepare a beautiful and unique dinner for the public.  Cuisines explored on these evenings have included Persian, Cuban, American Southern and many more.

The Natural Epicurean also maintains an on-site macrobiotic store to offer the community an opportunity to buy the highest quality cookware and food products at mail-order prices. Our store is the only place in Austin that sells many difficult to find macrobiotic products and our quality is superior to that found elsewhere.  In addition, we offer personalized service and recipes for each product to get you started.  Our store hours are Monday - Friday 10am - 7pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am - 3pm.
