Auditorium

auditorium rentals Austin Texas 48' X 26'; 1248 square feet wood floor
Ground floor entrance from pavilion is Handicap accessible. Pavilion area can be used for registration & has access to 2 restrooms. Includes 3 stage lights, 75 folding chairs, folding tables, Capacity for 100 people seated. Nice for movement classes, concerts and large lectures.


Cielo Room South

30' X 21'; 630 square feet w/ bamboo floor
Includes restroom, 45 folding chairs, folding tables, Capacity for 40 people seated. Not handicap accessible. Great for seminars & intimate events.


Cielo Room North

Auditorium rentals Austin Texas23 X 19'; 430 square feet w/ bamboo floor
Includes restroom, folding chairs, blackboard, folding tables, Capacity for 15 people seated.




Serena Room

rental spaces Austin Texas 22' X 23' 500 square feet
Stained cement floors.
Downstairs handicap accessible from gardens Includes 16 conference chairs, 6 meditation chairs, folding tables, TV with VCR & DVD, Capacity for 35 people seated. Nice for smaller seminars & those needing audio/visual.


Rentals FAQ

Do all rooms cost the same price?

Yes, all rooms are the same price. Each has its own unique features and so they are all comparable in value.

How do I book a room?

Find the date and time you are looking for on our availability calendar and make sure it is still available. Read through this FAQ to be sure that Casa de Luz is the right venue for your event. To make a request, follow the link at the bottom of this page. When you are ready to book the room, we require that the full amount be paid at time of booking if your total rental fee is $100 or less. If your total rental fee is over $100, you are required to pay a deposit of half the total amount at time of booking. The remainder of the balance is due two weeks before your event.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you cancel more than 30 days prior to your event then you will receive a full refund minus a $20 administration fee. If you cancel within 15-29 days we will refund 50% of your deposit, or 75% if you paid in full. Under 14 days we do not offer a refund.

I am allowed to bring outside food into the rooms?

Yes, you are allowed to bring outside food into the rooms but it must be free of all animal products. No exceptions. We recommend eating in the Casa de Luz dining room where you will find the healthiest food in town.

How late can I rent a room into the night?

We ask that events be over by 10pm. Those who may be around to help break down the event may stay later, however we ask the participants to be leaving the grounds around 10pm. If your event requires a later end time please call and talk to us about your specific circumstance and something may be able to be arranged.

How much time do I have to set up before my event?

You must include set-up and clean-up in your rental time.

Do you allow alcohol?

We do not allow alcohol in the rooms unless it is in small quantities for a religious purpose.

Do the chairs come set up when I arrive in the room?

No, the renter is responsible for the set up and break down of all equipment of their event.

Do the room have chairs and tables?

Yes, all rooms have chairs and tables available. If unable to locate, check the closets outside the Auditorium.

Do you have a podium, audio/visual equipment or wireless Internet?

We do not have a podium. We have no speaking equipment such as microphones or amplifiers. We do not have a projector. The Serena room and the Cielo North have TVs with DVD players. We do not have wireless internet.

What sort of promotion do you for those who rent space?

We have a bulletin board that is reserved for Casa renters only where renters may post a flyer for their event as well as an online web calendar where the event can be listed. We also offer a sponsor spot in our newsletter for a small fee.


Note: Casa de Luz is a non profit and our small staff wears many hats. Please be patient as all requests are handled in the order they are received. Due to the high number of requests, room rental communication is email-only.
