Dear Casa de Luz Community,
I am calling in a house/garden/pet-sitting opportunity for the summer. My precious, soon to be five-year-old and I love all things nature, art, animals, music, and community. We strive to live a holistic and natural lifestyle—eating whole foods, avoiding toxins, and spending time co-creating with those we love. We would honor and care for the space, plants, and pets that you entrust to us in your absence.
As a single mama, I am constantly striving to parent gently as I raise a kind, thoughtful, and conscious little human. Like her mama, my daughter is gentle and respectful with humans, animals, and objects.
I am currently enrolled in a rigorous, full-stack coding bootcamp through UT, which will wrap up the first week of August. It has required a great deal of time and energy, causing me to slowly drain my savings. A house or pet-sitting opportunity for the summer would allow me to remain focused on my course while staying financially afloat until I can begin working full-time in August.
We have wonderful references that will speak highly of both myself and my daughter as kind, loving, respectful, and trustworthy humans. We spent a week in May dog and garden-sitting for my former employer, who I am sure would give us a glowing review.
