Powerful Sufi Qawwali by Ustad Nizami - Sunday, Jan 14
Join Ustad Ghulam Farid Nizami and his disciple Faraz Nizami at Casa de Luz Synergy Room on Sunday, Jan. 14 3pm-6pm, as they keep the qawwali musical heritage alive with knowledge passed down for 18 generations. As descendants of a rich ancestry from India and Pakistan, the qawwali party will expound esoteric Sufi poetry, classical instrumentation, and powerful prayers to charge your spirits.
Poetry recitation will be accompanied by harmonium, dhamma, and centuries-old classical singing.
